Our name Cloud Nine Paints came from the first time I rode Roger and I said this was just like floating on a cloud.

We bought 10 acres of undeveloped land in June of 1999, conveniently located one hour west of Phoenix, near the I-10 Interstate. We moved on to the property in Jan. 2000 with may complications and not quite ready, but we continue to move forward. We also considered our location by available facilities, especially Veterinarians, within 20 miles.  We use one of the Best Reproductive Vets in the US, Durango Equine, Dr. Lloyd Kloppe. They handle all the shipped semen.

We are a small breeding ranch and also board broodmares. There is nothing fancy about our facility EXCEPT OUR HORSES.

In an era of Specialties in the Show Ring, Halter, WP, HUS, ect...we do not. We are focused on producing a top quality ALL AROUND HORSE, which is where the FUTURE IS and where the PAST WAS.
